First class service and advice
Highly recommended

Here's why you should use Charles Maiden: a cautionary tale about their competition. We've lived in our current home for 34 years now. After about 10 years we thought we should have our septic tank emptied (a first mistake in itself to leave it that long), so we got one of Charles Maiden's competitors in, based simply on them being a name we recognised. We paid up and were told it was emptied successfully. We left it more years, then had another competitor in (having heard good reports of them from friends); again, we paid up and were told it was emptied. This last time we had Charles Maiden (based on their good reviews) - who came and asked where the tank lid was. Turns out after an hour of digging that it was buried under about 8 inches of earth and grass - and it was clear it had never been emptied. We were lucky: it was still working - but unlucky in having paid a couple of well-known names for doing nothing other than turning up and fibbing. I guess we were naive; all I can say is that we'd now never use anyone else other than Maidens - we've had the proof first-hand that they tell the truth when others take money for nothing.

Simply the best! Have been coming here for over 30 years, always helpful, friendly and professional, - NEVER any mess or smell - always cheerful - a delight to have around. The office always answer the phone immediately - and are always friendly, helpful and professional too - and always respond immediately to a problem.

First class service. Rachel was brilliant in arranging an urgent septic tank emptying to assist us in undertaking a drainage survey on a prospective house purchase. Not only that but her knowledge and advice around all things septic tank/drainage related was absolutely superb and helped us come to a decision around our purchase which in fact saved us from buying what was effectively a money pit. We moved into this house 7 years ago and Maidens had been emptying the sceptic tank here for many years prior to. We started using them and we couldn’t be more pleased with the level of service and professionalism they provide. All the staff are excellent and there is never an issue. I called them out in an emergency last year and they were here within 10 minutes.

Very helpful staff! Rang round a number of other companies and some were almost £50 dearer and gave me a 2-3 week wait time. Contacted Charles Maiden Waste and they came out the next day and were a fraction of the price! Wouldn't use anyone else now!

Brilliant service and lots of free, common sense advice to get the tank working better. They even sent a reminder when it would need emptying.  Fabulous!

Moved in in November. Called on Monday, wasn't an emergency, but they were there on Tuesday morning anyway. The driver was polite, friendly and very efficient, and the price was at the lower end of what I was expecting. Let's be honest, septic tank emptying is always a grudge purchase, but on the basis of this experience Maiden is now my default choice for waste disposal.

They worked really hard to fix my situation and they eventually found another company to help me and didn't charge. I can't remember recommend them enough.
